About Seeds For Africa
SEEDS FOR AFRICA aims to help African families by the provision of indigenous seeds, agricultural equipment and relevant technical advice, giving individuals and communities a future, not just a temporary answer.
They ensure that the management of the gardens uses the skills of local people so that the projects do not create a culture of dependency.
With the help of patron Alan Titchmarsh they have established over 1,000 projects in 25 African countries.
The charity is based at the University of Kent, Canterbury.
